Formed in 2019, we are a group of academics and industry specialists from the UK and Japan, carrying out Research and Knowledge Exchange related to best practice in VR and creative approaches to Immersive Technology.
Led by Dr Dylan Yamada-Rice, the network was launched with an ESRC & AHRC funded project looking at the best practices in location-based VR design for children in the UK and Japan.
The network includes researchers, partners, and contributors from the RCA, UCL, Glasgow School of Art, University of Tokyo, Hashilus, Sony, the Royal Opera House, and the BBC.
The network has subsequently been involved in a number of follow up bids and projects, including the latest research for the Countermeasures project.
