These design outcomes form part of my Countermeasures research project, investigating methods of increasing awareness of, and agency over, surveillance by digital sensors.
A kit of resources, materials, and tools, these outcomes utilise a creative, critical design approach to simultaneously provide practical support against surveillance, whilst also prompting discussion and awareness about the role of sensors in common digital devices.
The kit consisted of low-cost, open source tools such as a phone-rocker, camera stickers, magnets, and microphone disablers.
